Hyphen Health and Hey Fella Come Together in Australia’s Hottest Health Hook-Up

SYDNEY, Australia, 16th January 2025 – In a bold, unapologetic move set to disrupt the sexual health industry, Hyphen Health – Australia’s largest online sexual health clinic group – has today announced their merger with Hey Fella, bringing the leading LGBTQIA+ digital health service under the Hyphen Health umbrella.

Founded in Brisbane by Dr Cris Quitral and Luke Fuller, Hey Fella was designed by gay doctors for gay men, breaking down barriers and rewriting the rules of men’s sexual health.

James Sneddon, CEO of Hyphen Health, said “Bringing two powerhouse online sexual health clinics together under one roof like Hyphen Health and Hey Fella ensures more people have access to respectful, non-discriminatory, sexual health services” Sneddon continued “I’m beyond excited to join forces with Cris and Luke to continue making sexual health sexy and something we can all be proud of.”

With this merger, Cris and Luke join Hyphen Health as co-founders. James Sneddon continues as CEO, while Dr Cris Quitral steps up as Chief Medical Officer, filling the role left by Dr Mitchell Tanner late last year. Luke Fuller will lead as Chief Technology Officer, and together, Cris and Luke will drive product innovation as Chiefs of Product.

The combined organisation will now support nearly 1 in 2 Australians on HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and diagnose more than 1 in 20 STIs nationwide. The merger cements Hyphen Health as Australia’s go-to, all-online sexual health hub.

Dr Cris explained “This isn’t just a merger – it’s a movement. Hey Fella has always been passionate about breaking down barriers and making sexual health something to celebrate, not shy away from. We love that we’re now doing that with Hyphen Health – it’s bold, it’s inclusive, and it’s exactly what Australia needs.”
